Geneva International Peace Research Institute (GIPRI)
Among the main activities of GIPRI, is the organization of yearly summer courses dealing with peace. It benefits of the help of the United Nations Institute for Disarmament Research (UNIDIR), and since a few years of the Pole Bernheim of Peace of the Université Libre de Bruxelles. The other peace-related activity of GIPRI is Research and Research coordination. The Research results are published in information Bulletin issues and Booklets. GIPRI conducts other projets like the Israeli-Palestinian water studies: an assessment of twelve year of cooperation efforts or the support network for the Iraqi Academics.
The Geneva International Peace Research Institute (GIPRI) acts independently of any political or religious faith, to promote scientific pluri-disciplinary studies and research on peace problems. It provides analyses in various sensible fields like sources of conflicts, arms control etc.

The daily management of GIPRI is coordinated by the manager Dr. Gabriel Galice with the help of the president, Pr. Jean-Pierre Stroot. They are assisted in their task by technical advisors and trainees from various horizons.
