With International Peace Day fast approaching, we are proud to announce the third edition of the Geneva Peace Talks. Centered on the theme of “It’s time for peace!” the 2015 edition will highlight the urgency of supporting peace efforts around the world.
REACHING OUT BEYOND GENEVA
Held in one of the largest and most prestigious conference rooms of the Palais des Nations, home of the United Nations Office in Geneva, and involving speakers from widely different horizons, the Geneva Peace Talks aim to reach well beyond Geneva. In fact, the goal of this year’s edition is not only to span the globe in the promotion of peace, but also to span history by exploring past and present peace efforts. This will help draw important conclusions for the future of peacebuilding.
