9:00 - 10:15
Geneva Centre for Security Policy (GCSP) Conference Room 1
Maison de la Paix, Petal 4
This panel aims to provide a first horizon scan of the issues and themes relevant from a Geneva perspective for consideration of the forthcoming 2020 Review of the UN's Peacebuidling Architecture. The panel includes key inputs from different perspectives including on the Peacebuilding Fund’s new Investment Plan 2020-24 (Marcus Lenzen), issues to consider for the Review from a field perspective (Katharina Vögeli) and from an academic perspective (Charles Call). The event is part of a series of efforts facilitated by the Geneva Peacebuilding Platform to enable input from the Geneva-based peacebuilding community into the Review of the Peacebuidling Architecture in 2020. It builds on the Geneva Peacebuilding Platform's White Paper on Peacebuilding prepared for the 2015 Review.
