This networking event is part of the regular LATAM Breakfast Series jointly convened by the Geneva Peacebuilding Platform, the Latin America Division of DCAF – Geneva Centre for Security Sector Governance, and the Geneva Think Tank Hub.
The LATAM Breakfast Series focuses on key peace and security topics in the Latin America Region. It is targeted at the senior expert level in international organizations, academia and NGOs in Geneva (e.g. heads of geographic departments, country experts, project directors). Please feel free forward this invitation to your relevant colleagues. The LATAM Breakfast Series have been initiated in January 2019 and has so far held exchanges on Brazil (2x), Venezuela (2x), Colombia (2x), Nicaragua, and Guatemala building a group of about 100 professionals working on Latin America in Geneva.
The LATAM Breakfast Series are part of the exploratory efforts to establish a Geneva Reference Group on Latin American Peace and Security Issues that focuses to highlight region-specific challenges in these fields at the international policy level.
