World Café Reception

The Geneva Peacebuilding Platform (GPP), together with the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (IHEID) and the United Nations Office at Geneva (UNOG), have the pleasure to invite you to the World Café Reception, which is the official opening of the Geneva Peace Week, 6 to 10 November 2017.
This reception offers a networking opportunity with Geneva’s peacebuilding community while at the same time exploring key issues in the broader peacebuilding fields.
Held in the Cafeteria of the Maison de la Paix, the reception will include six discussion tables moderated by thought and practice leaders in their respective fields. Topics include (a) Trends in peace mediation and conflict prevention; (b) What next in peacebuilding?; (c) Sustaining peace in the city; (d) Business and peace; (e) A digital Geneva Convention?; (f) Trends on water and peace; and other topics.
The event will begin at 17.00 in the Ivan Pictet Auditorium with the introduction by each moderator of their respective themes and will then move to the Cafeteria of the same building for the table discussions.
