The Geneva Peacebuilding Platform is pleased to announce the publication of the Geneva Peace Week 2025 Report, documenting the 12th edition held from 13 to 17 October 2025 under the theme “Peace in Action.”

The report captures the scale and diversity of the week, which welcomed 3,300 on-site participants and 2,400 online attendees from 156 countries, totalling over 5,700 session attendances across five days.

With 100 activities including panels, workshops, artistic events, and public engagements, GPW 2025 represented the most ambitious edition to date.

Artistic expression was a central feature of this year’s programme, with exhibitions and performances such as “Asimetrìa,” “Echos of Reality,” “HE[R]EAL – Her Reality: Women Combatants' Journeys from War to Peace,” and theatre workshops on human rights, providing new avenues to explore peace through creativity.

A total of 137 organizations participated, with 281 speakers sharing insights, experiences, and visions for peace. Fifty panels and workshops were selected from 228 proposals, reflecting the growing engagement of the global peacebuilding community. Networking and collaboration opportunities remained a hallmark of the week, fostering connections that extended beyond the event itself.

The GPW 2025 Report provides a comprehensive overview of the programme, key figures, participating organizations, speakers, and behind-the-scenes insights into organizing such a complex forum. It highlights the week’s most impactful moments and activities, celebrating the dedication of all board members, partners, staff, and contributors who made this edition possible.
