On the heels of the of the 3rd UN-CSO Dialogue on Peacebuilding—a global gathering instituted in 2023 to institutionalize UN-CSO-Member State exchanges, and taking place this year for the first time in Geneva on December 10 and 11—the GPP is pleased to invite you to an informal meeting which will offer an opportunity to get together and debrief this new edition of the Dialogue with some of the colleagues involved, and while things are still fresh.

In a troubled international environment marked by considerable uncertainty, the CSO-UN Dialogue on Peacebuilding—whose theme this year will be the operationalization of a whole-of-system approach, with a particular focus on the WPS and YPS agendas—is a unique occasion to take the pulse of the broader peacebuilding community and hear from organizations based in the Global South in particular. This year, it also follows a momentous milestone with the recent conclusion of the UN Peacebuilding Architecture Review.

In this context, in addition to taking place in Geneva, we expect this edition to provide ample food for thought and yield very relevant lessons for Geneva’s peacebuilding community, and we highly encourage you to join us to make this discussion as lively and interactive as possible.
