The Geneva Peacebuilding Platform is delighted to host the first Lunch briefing of 2026 and discussion with Asif R. Khan, Director of the Policy and Mediation Division at the UN Department of Political and Peacebuilding Affairs in New York. Mr. Khan, who brings three decades of UN experience in peacekeeping and mediation, will engage with Geneva's peacebuilding community to discuss notable recent developments. Topics will include the negotiation and implementation of the 2024 Pact for the Future and the New Agenda for Peace, as well as the ongoing Peacebuilding Architecture Review.
