Building on the success of the first two editions in New York (2023) and Addis Ababa (2025), Geneva Peace Week meets Vienna will bring the global peacebuilding community to Vienna for a one-day event on 3 June 2026. This third edition of the Geneva Peace Week meets series, it offers an opportunity to bridge dialogues between international and regional peace actors, spotlight emerging challenges and opportunities for sustainable peace, and strengthen collaboration across multilateral hubs.

Success Stories: From Geneva to Baidoa, Turning Dialogue into a National Peace Initiative
After participating in the 2024 and 2025 editions, Mustafa Abdullahi, Director General at the Ministry of Interior, Local Governance and Reconciliation for the South West State of Somalia, helped launch the South West Peace Week in Baidoa. Inspired by the Geneva model, the initiative brings together government leaders, youth, women, scholars, and cultural actors to turn dialogue into practical actions for reconciliation, governance, and social cohesion.
